Choreographer (and season two contestant) Travis Wall put together a contemporary number for dancers Kent Boyd and Neil Haskell (Kent is competing this year – Neil is a returning “All-Star”), and it gave the audience a taste of what two guys dancing together, passionately, could look like. Of course, this being no one could come out and just say the dance was about a bad breakup between two men. He did something really mean to me and just stabbed me in the back.
In the rehearsal clip in fact, they went out of their way to describe the relationship between the two dancers as “best friends.” right now where I need to move on, and even if it does hurt Kent I just really need to move forward. Travis: When Kent gets stabbed in the back it’s a pain in your heart, your stomach, you want to throw up.
On July 23, 2009, Wall returned to So You Think You Can Dance along with fellow Season 2 contestant Heidi Groskreutz on the 100th episode of the show, to perform the Emmy award-winning piece The Bench, choreographed by Mia Michaels.

When I have time to clean, I have to clean up everybody else’s mess. By the time I’m 31 I want to move into directing and producing and choreographing my own movies, productions, events and shows. If someone would’ve told me seven years ago, “You’re going to have your own TV show, your own dance company, choreographing all these movies and things,” I would’ve slapped them in the face and said, “Yeah, right.” But I did. It’s emotional and [viewers] want to see what people go through; they want to see people work through their problems and aggressions. It makes people feel good because a lot of people don’t know how to dance the way we dance, so they admire it.
But what can be terribly frustrating is how the judges (in particular Nigel Lythgoe) seem hellbent on playing up the romantic “chemistry” aspect of the couples’ dancing.
We’re brothers from another mother, and we go through life together and support each other. What will surprise people about the dance world that you guys are living in during this show? How much of your relationship with Dom Palange will be part of the show?
In 2006, at the age of 18, Wall competed on the second season of the show So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD), making it to the final four contestants before placing second behind overall winner Benji Schwimmer.
Wall was praised by the judges as the most technically talented dancer in the competition.
Speaking about the special moment in an interview, the Virginia born dancer said, Now that we know that they are engaged and are more than happy with one another, the fans often wonder to be aware of their plans of tying the knot and getting married.
But the two are yet to disclose any plans as of such, as they probably are enjoying their romance for now and have some plans stacked for the future.
